PARTICIPANTS:
Membership: All youth are encouraged to become members of the Boys and Girls Club of the White River Valley. Memberships are available for a $20 annual or $2 monthly fee (for a total $24 annually). Memberships enable youth to participate in member-only programs including BGC Randolph Power Hour and Clubs, and certain activities at the Northfield and Randolph Teen Centers. Members are also able to participate in free member days at the Randolph Ice Rink and Randolph Town Pool (typically twice per season).
Payment: We accept payment by cash, check or money order. Afterschool Program participants will be billed at the beginning of each month for the days they are registered to attend the program. Summer Camp participants must pay for their camp tuition by June 20th for the upcoming summer. Payment plans are available upon request and mutual agreement with our finance office. If a family defaults on a payment agreement or is not up to date with monthly payments, we reserve the right to withdraw a child from the program until the financial situation is resolved.
Pre-registration: Unless otherwise advertised, all of our programs require pre-registration. You will receive notification from our administrative office or the Program Director when your information has been received and your child is able to participate in BGCWRV programs.

Scholarships: Summer Camp scholarships are available annually. All interested families are invited to apply in April and decisions will be made each year in mid May. At other times during the year, families experiencing difficult circumstances are invited to contact our administrative office to discuss scholarship availability. Our goal is to find a way for every child to participate, regardless of financial situation, and we are happy to work with families to make this a reality.

Cancellations: Occasionally a program must be cancelled due to low enrollment. If this is the case, participants will be notified as soon as possible. If school is cancelled or closes early, our programs are cancelled for that day. As soon as we are notified of an early dismissal (typically due to weather) we will contact parents as soon as possible.

Pick up Policy: Participants must be picked up from our programs before the scheduled end time of the program. Additionally, individuals who are permitted to pick up a child from our afterschool or camp programs must be at least 16 years of age.

PERSONNEL:
Equal Opportunity: Boys and Girls Club of the White River Valley is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to the spirit and letter of all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to equal opportunity.
Background Checks: In an effort to protect our members, all Boys & Girls employees and volunteers are subject to background checks upon hire and at least every two years following.
Employee Handbook: Every BGCWRV employee is issued an Employee Handbook and is expected to read and sign it.
Driving: Only employees who are at least 21 years of age, have completed background checks and are approved by BGCWRV to do so, are permitted to transport BGCWRV participants with appropriate permission from parents / guardians.
