PARTICIPANTS:
Membership:Each youth that participates in one of our programs will be considered a member of the Boys & Girls Club of the White River Valley and will be issued a membership card.
 
Payment: We expect payment in cash, check or money order prior to the start of the  program your child is registered for unless other arrangements have been made.
 
Pre-registration: Unless otherwise advertised, all of our programs require pre-registration.  This helps us better prepare for your child. Please contact the administrative office for a registration form or download one from our website.
 
Scholarships: If your child qualifies for free or reduced lunches or your family is experiencing difficult circumstances, please contact our administrative office about applying for a scholarship or download a Scholarship form from our website. 
 
Cancellations: Occasionally a program must be cancelled due to low enrollment, sickness or weather.  If school is cancelled or closes early, our programs are cancelled for that day. We will notify participants as soon as possible.
 
Pick up Policy:Participants are expected to be picked up within 15 minutes after their program ends. After the 2nd tardy pick up, a meeting may be called with the parent to determine if the participant can continue in the program.
 
Bad Checks:  If we receive a check that is returned due to insufficient funds, we will immediately contact the payer to either terminate the member's involvement in their program or arrange for immediate payment in cash or money order.  We charge $10 for every returned check.  If the payer is experiencing financial difficulty, please talk to the administrative office about payment plan and scholarship possibilities.
 
Transporting Participants: Before we transport participants, we must have a release form signed by their parent/guardian.

Background Checks: In an effort to protect our members, all Boys & Girls employees and volunteers are subject to background checks upon hire and at least every two years following.
 
Employee Handbook:Every BGCWRV employee is issued an Employee Handbook and is expected to read and sign it. 
 
Driving: Only employees and volunteers who are at least 21 years of age, have completed background checks and are approved by BGCWRV to do so, are permitted to transport BGCWRV participants.
